Greek Chicken Wraps with Cucumber Sauce
Ingredients:
For the Chicken:
2 chicken breasts, cut into strips
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Salt & pepper, to taste
For the Cucumber Sauce (Tzatziki-style):
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
1/3 cup grated cucumber, squeezed dry
1 small garlic clove, minced
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tbsp chopped fresh dill or mint
Salt, to taste
Wrap Assembly:
4 pita or flatbread wraps
1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
1/4 cup sliced red onion
1/4 cup crumbled feta
Lettuce or baby spinach (optional)
Directions:
Marinate & Cook the Chicken
Toss chicken strips with olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, paprika, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Let marinate for 10–15 minutes.
Sauté in a skillet over medium heat for 6–8 minutes until cooked through and golden.
Make the Cucumber Sauce
In a small bowl, mix yogurt, grated cucumber, garlic, lemon juice, herbs, and salt. Stir well and chill until ready to serve.
Assemble the Wraps
Warm pitas slightly, then layer with lettuce (if using), cooked chicken, tomatoes, red onion, and feta. Drizzle generously with cucumber sauce.
Wrap & Serve
Fold and serve immediately, or wrap in parchment for a grab-and-go lunch.
