With a crunchy graham cracker crust, thick layers of silky chocolate ganache, and a fluffy peanut butter filling, this dessert tastes like a supersized Reese’s cup — but even better. And the best part? No baking required!

Ingredients

For the Crust

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar

For the Peanut Butter Filling

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

For the Chocolate Ganache

  • 2 ½ cups milk chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil or shortening

Optional Toppings

  • Chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
  • Extra melted peanut butter (for drizzling)

Instructions

1 Prepare the Crust

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar.
  2. Stir until the mixture resembles damp sand and holds together when pressed.
  3. Press firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch tart pan or pie dish.
  4. Refrigerate the crust while preparing the chocolate ganache.
  5. Tip: Use the bottom of a flat measuring cup to press the crust evenly.

2 Make the Chocolate Ganache Base

  1. Add chocolate chips and oil to a microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring between each round, until smooth and glossy.
  3. Pour half of the melted ganache into the chilled crust.
  4. Spread evenly using a spatula.
  5. Return to the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours, or until firm.

3 Create the Peanut Butter Layer

  1. In a separate bowl, combine the peanut butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and a pinch of salt.
  2. Beat until smooth, thick, and creamy.
  3. Spread the peanut butter mixture evenly over the chilled chocolate layer.
  4. Place back in the refrigerator while preparing the final ganache topping.
  5. Tip: If the peanut butter mixture is too thick to spread, microwave it for 10–15 seconds.

4 Add the Final Ganache Layer

  1. If the remaining ganache has thickened, gently reheat it until pourable.
  2. Carefully pour it over the peanut butter filling.
  3. Smooth the top with a spatula for a glossy finish.
  4. Add optional toppings: a drizzle of melted peanut butter, chopped Reese’s cups, or chocolate swirls.

5 Chill Thoroughly

Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours — but overnight is ideal.
This ensures clean slices and perfectly set layers.

6 Slice & Serve

Use a warm knife (run under hot water and dried) for perfect slices.
Serve chilled for the best texture.

Serving Suggestions

  • Top with whipped cream
  • Add a drizzle of chocolate or caramel
  • Serve with a cold glass of milk
  • Add crushed peanuts for crunch

Tips for the Best Giant Reese’s Pie

  • Use creamy peanut butter, not natural (it separates).
  • Chill each layer fully for clean, beautiful layers.
  • If using a tart pan, choose one with a removable bottom for easy slicing.
  • Milk chocolate gives authentic “Reese’s” flavor, but dark chocolate also works if you prefer less sweetness.
