Bacon Cheeseburger Stuffed Tater Tot Cones
Ingredients
→ Cheeseburger Filling
1 pound ground beef
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
¼ cup diced onions
¼ cup ketchup
¼ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup mustard
Salt and black pepper to taste
→ Crispy Cones and Cheese
24 frozen tater tots
4 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
4 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
Steps
Preheat your oven to 425°F. In a skillet over medium heat, cook that ground beef until it’s beautifully browned, then drain the fat. Stir in the crumbled bacon, diced onions, ketchup, mayo, and mustard. Season with salt and pepper, mix it all up, and remove from heat. This mixture smells incredible!
Here’s the fun part! Using a small knife or spoon, carefully hollow out each tater tot to create little cone shapes. Take your time – you want them to hold all that delicious filling without breaking apart.
Fill each hollowed tater tot cone with the cheeseburger mixture – don’t be shy, pack them full! Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top of each filled cone. They’re going to look amazing!
Arrange your stuffed cones on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until the tater tots are golden and that cheddar is beautifully melted.
Mix the mozzarella cheese with any remaining cheeseburger mixture. Remove the cones from the oven and top each one with a generous amount of this cheesy mixture – this is where it gets really indulgent!
Pop them back in the oven for 5-10 minutes until that cheese topping is bubbly and golden brown. Serve these beauties hot while the cheese is still gooey and amazing!
