Bacon Ranch Chicken Casserole
Ingredients :
3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or chopped
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1 packet ranch seasoning mix (about 1 oz)
1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
2 cups crushed potato chips (for topping)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Make the sauce: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and ranch seasoning until smooth and combined.
Add the chicken and bacon: Stir in the cooked chicken and half of the crumbled bacon.
Assemble the casserole: Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish. Top with shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
Add the crunchy topping: Sprinkle the remaining bacon and crushed potato chips evenly over the top.
Bake uncovered for 25 minutes, or until the casserole is hot, bubbling, and the cheese is fully melted.
Rest and serve: Let the casserole sit for about 5 minutes before serving to set slightly.
