Breakfast Bacon Cheeseburger Lasagna

Ingredients:

9 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
1 lb breakfast sausage
8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
6 large eggs
2 tablespoons milk
Salt and black pepper, to taste
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1½ cups ricotta cheese
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Maple syrup, for drizzling

Instructions:

Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Cook the Sausage:
In a skillet over medium heat, brown the breakfast sausage, breaking it into crumbles. Drain and set aside.
Scramble the Eggs:
In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Melt butter in a clean skillet and scramble the eggs gently until just set. Set aside.
Assemble the Lasagna:
Spread a thin layer of ricotta on the bottom of the baking dish. Lay down 3 lasagna noodles.
Add half of the scrambled eggs, a third of the sausage, a third of the bacon, dollops of ricotta, and a mix of cheddar and mozzarella.
Repeat with another layer.
For the final layer, add noodles, remaining sausage and bacon, the rest of the cheeses, and finish with Parmesan.
Bake:
Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and continue baking for 10–15 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
Cool and Serve:
Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Drizzle lightly with maple syrup for a perfect sweet-savory combo.
