No Bake Homemade Crunch Bar
Ingredients:
– 2 cups crispy rice cereal
– 1 cup creamy peanut butter
– 1/2 cup honey
– 1/4 cup unsalted butter
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
1. In a medium saucepan, combine peanut butter, honey, and butter. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
2. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
3. In a large bowl, combine crispy rice cereal and the peanut butter mixture. Stir until the cereal is evenly coated.
4. Press the mixture firmly into a greased 8×8-inch baking pan.
5. Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
6. Drizzle the melted chocolate evenly over the pressed cereal mixture.
7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm.
8. Once set, cut into bars and serve.
