Cheesy Chicken Calzon
Ingredients:
1 pre-made pizza dough
1 cup shredded cooked chicken
1/2 cup marinara sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Roll out the pizza dough into a large circle.
3. Spread marinara sauce over half of the dough, leaving a border around the edges.
4. Layer shredded chicken, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning over the sauce.
5. Fold the other half of the dough over the filling and press the edges to seal tightly.
6. Brush the top with beaten egg and cut small slits for steam to escape.
7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
